WEEDY SCORPION FISH (Rhinopias frondosa)

The best critters of all time, the fancy and expensive, a photographers dream & ambition, a long lost so called "holy grail' transpormed into a fish...the Lacey scorpion fish found in Anilao in different variants & colors.
Finding this special critter is considerably an achievement,a trophy and an inspirational self pleasure. I could say that you must be very lucky if you find it by yourselves within a thousand log dives of record. Technically on my experience I made about 3000 ave. dives but I haven't seen this critter yet by myself. SAW BLADE SHRIMP

                                                            Scientific name : Tozeuma sp.

Extremely elongated shrimp. Rostrum is twice the carapace lenght, and about 1/3 of the total lenght. It has teeth on the lower part (from here the popular name). The abdomen hump has a spine turned backward. Orange colour. 4 cm. Many Tozeuma species, all with elongated shape and the typical rostrum, are still undescribed.

FLAMBOYANT CUTTLE FISH is one of the best critters,it's super rare yet sometimes it'll just show up even though you're not looking for it,but some times when you are trying to search for  it practically it hides. To others shooting it looks quite not interesting for them however when you capture it using your macro lens & have it photograph correctly creates unforgettable experience. #   

MOTOTI also known as OSCILLATED OCTOPUS is one of the most elegant critters among the octopuses,this is very different to other species this is so called chameleon under the sea it camouflaged perfectly depends on where it touches. Most photographers get bored shooting this critters because the real beauty is beyond their patient & understanding it will only declare the real color when it feels agitated.

Mototi is same specie to the Blue-ringed octopus the poison it contain are like perfectly the same however since the real blue-ring has more rings in their body it becomes more invulnerable underwater and becomes the most ferocious creature. 

They are currently recognized as one of the world's venomous marine animals. Despite their small size and relatively docile nature, they can prove a danger to humans. 

JUVENILE FROG FISH is cute whenever it is still young but when it turns adult & grew up other macro photographer has a very little appetite shooting it because aside from it's big and won't fit anymore to the viewer of the camera the skin texture & design also changed.

MIMIC NUDIBRANCH (Phyllodesmium jacobsenae)

Is consider as one of the best nudibranch for its unique ability to mimic againts the xena soft corals, this critter is quite impossible to find by yourself specially if you don't have basic information of the habitat and attitude of this critter. They may be very active at night and will definitely hide under rocks or corals during daytime, here in Anilao there should be couple of places that you can spot it however, you need a local guide that  has the ability of  finding  it.
